Wild Desert has a workshop at its Roma base for the purpose of designing, fabricating, modifying & maintaining equipment. The team of welders, mechanics & electricians ensure that innovative ideas can be actioned, by building rig equipment from start to finish or modifying items to ensure it best fits the requirements & regulations of our industry.
Other achievements at the workshop include the following:
- We can provide customer with a quick turnaround on equipment if required
- Complete strip down & rebuild to rig carriers
- Custom build ancillary Rig Equipment e.g. Mud Pumps & Mud Tanks, Koomey Units
- Engineer out hazards on the rigs or equipment which may be identified by rig personnel during normal operations
- General fabrication maintenance to all rigs, trucks & other equipment
- Custom built rig trucks
- Quality control on all equipment by management
