Est. 2005

Wild Desert is a private, family-owned company which was founded in Roma, Queensland, in 2005. Since then, we have grown to become one of Australia’s leading providers of well servicing rigs, transport operations and mobile camps to the oil and gas industry across regional Australia.

Our Foundation

Our foundation is what sets us apart, with local ownership and leadership at our core. For Wild Desert, being local is fundamental to our business, and our success is our communities’ success. It’s beyond a policy. It is about genuine investment into the community that we call home.

Our People

Our people are our company and employing the right people in our business has driven our continued success. As Wild Desert has grown to include bases in Brisbane and Moomba, so have our executive and operations management teams. Wild Desert has always prided itself on its dedicated core team that’s focused on the common values of excellence, safety, passion, innovation and fun. These core values are as evident today as they were in 2005.

Our Experience

Our on-the-ground experience has seen us successfully provide solutions for clients since 2005. From the Cooper Basin, in South Australia, to the Surat and Bowen Basin in Queensland, to the oil and gas fields of New South Wales and Northern Territory, Wild Desert has become Australia’s foremost go-to provider for well servicing solutions.

Our Community

Life is about more than work. We know that for our teams to thrive in their communities, it is essential to support the community, as much as they help us. Sometimes it is by sponsoring a local sporting team. Sometimes it is a community event. And at other times it is about donating our time, skills and equipment to make things happen. For us, local support is about showing up, not showing off. It is about backing the volunteers, the go-getters, the groups, the teams and the events that bring these communities to life. We strive to participate in things that genuinely matter.
